WHAT TO EXPECT

This is a one on one intimate portrait session with me in a relaxed safe private space.

The duration of your shoot is approximately 3 hours - we want this to be a no stress, no rush zone so I highly suggest taking the day off for this experience allowing time to chat, connect, break, play and have fun.

I believe the magic lies in the ‘Lingering’ and this will shine through in your beautiful images. Prior to your session we will discuss ideas and inspirations in preparation for your desired outcome. Please know that you are not expected to be able to pose, that’s my expertise and I will gently guide you in a way that suits you.

All of the brave women you see on my site are not models they are teachers, mums, hairdressers, health workers, fitness trainers, nurses, everyday women not accustomed to being in front of the camera.

While it’s expected to initially feel a little nervous I can tell you it does not take long to unwrap those inhibitions. This is when the magic unfolds, EVERY TIME!

FAQ

  • Most of my Boudoir Shoots take place in my studio located in Torquay. Other options can be arranged upon request at times such as on location.

  • Upon booking 50% of the payment for your choice of service is required to secure your shoot date, with the remaining 50% due on the day of your session. Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit card or cash.

  • As I welcome the raw and natural there is not a lot for you to do prior to your shoot. I do recommend having your hair the way you like it colour wise and no fake tan is preferable. A good restful nights sleep prior to your session is the BEST prep!!

  • You will need to bring along any outfits or lingerie you wish to wear for your session, however I do encourage a minimal look. My style is to keep things simple so you won’t need a great deal. Fabrics and sheets will be supplied for use in the studio. Prior to your shoot we will discuss ideas and options and I will send you a list of ideas.

  • Wearing your hair and face the way you feel comfortable with is encouraged and most welcome! If you do prefer a more glamorous look or just want to relax and have it all done for you then we have a very talented stylist we can arrange fo an extra fee of $150.

  • This is an intimate relaxed session allowing time to connect and break where required, so please allow approximately 3-4 hours! it is best not to double book on this special day. If you are calm, relaxed and not time pressured this is going to show through in the outcome of your beautiful images.

  • Black and White is my personal preference for the genre of Boudoir, however I do shoot everything in colour so you will get to choose what you would prefer for your images. You can also have a mix of both if you so chose.

  • In keeping with images that are authentic and real editing is kept to a minimum. Removal of blemishes, acne etc….as well as light, contrast and colour corrections. Beautiful lighting, posing and connection will ensure the most alluring version of yourself.

  • Given the intimate nature of Boudoir sessions I do believe most clients feel much more comfortable and able to relax, open up and show their authentic selves when there are no other eyes on them, just the camera and my gentle direction.

  • Your order will be ready for you to collect approximately 3 weeks following your shoot .
